Photographer Karim Carella of Italy was Awarded Honorable Mention in Fine Art for the winning entry “Rocks in the clouds (studio 18)” and in Landscapes category for the winning entry “The old barn under the clouds” at prestigious Monochrome Awards honouring Black & White Photography.

The 2016 Monochrome Awards received 8122 submissions from 81 countries around the world.

Winning images were selected by panel of international judges, including: Allison Barnes, Andre Brito, Anna Filipova, Ben Nixon, Claire A. Warden, David Fokos, David Johndrow, Dominique Bollinger , Katarina Balgavy, Martin Stavars, Michel Rajkovic, Norma I. Quintana, Pia Elizondo, Rebecca Cairns, Roman Loranc, Ted Preuss and Tomasz Lazar.
